Center for Interpretive and Qualitative Research The Center for Interpretive and Qualitative Research (CIQR) of the McAnulty College and Graduate School of Liberal Arts, Duquesne University, presents: Dr. Sonia Ospina, Associate Professor of Public Management and Policy, Director of the Doctoral Program 1997-2001, New York University Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service. Public Lecture: "New Lenses on Leadership: A Constructionist Approach" Thursday, Feb. 21, 2002 Followed by a reception. Parking will be available in the Forbes Lot located on Forbes Avenue between Magee Street and Washington Place Minutes MINUTES of Feb. 21 and 22, 2000: Dr. Sonia Ospina, Associate Professor of Public Management and Policy, Director of the Doctoral Program 1997-2001, New York University Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service, gave a public lecture, "New Lenses on Leadership: A Constructionist Approach," and a symposium, "A Novel Use of Qualitative Methods for Leadership Research." Prof. Ospina's presentations taken together were an excellent balance of theory (constructionism) and method (her use of three types of qualitative methods for her research on grass-roots leadership). Both presentations were followed by a lively discussion concerning her project. |
